Registered Nurse Graduate Program—2012 Mid-year intake

Applications for the Mater Health Services mid-year graduate intake are now closed.

The next intake for the Mater Graduate Program will commence in January 2013 and applications will open in late 2012. You can register for a job alert to be notified as soon as applications are open for submission.

Mater's Graduate Programs for Registered Nurses are designed to assist graduates with the transition from study into nursing. The 12-month program allows Mater's graduates to work within a supportive learning environment to provide exceptional care to patients.

Graduate Programs

All graduate programs listed below are offered by Mater Health Services and are subject to availability. Individual programs may not be offered during each graduate intake.

*If you are successful in obtaining a position on a rotational graduate program at Mater, we will provide you with a list of available rotations and you will be asked to select your preferences from this list.

All programs will include:

one week orientation
supernumerary time throughout all programs
professional development days
clinical learning packages and competencies
full support by clinical preceptors, clinical facilitators and nurse educators

You must provide a copy of your residency / working rights visa clearly showing your eligibility to work full time in Australia for 12 months.
