From 1 September 2008, Mater Health Services only recognises insurance through ACE Insurance Ltd as acceptable insurance and accordingly, health insurance through any other provider will not be recognised as acceptable for the purposes of your contract of employment.

If sponsored by the Mater, we will arrange private health insurance coverage for you and your dependants, through ACE Insurance Ltd, for the term of your sponsorship. The cost of that insurance will be deducted from the total reimbursement of relocation expenses available to you or deducted per fortnight if relocation is not available to you.

The private health insurance coverage through ACE insurance Ltd will be arranged regardless of whether you have arranged cover through another insurer. The Mater will not accept private health insurance coverage arranged other than in accordance with this clause.

Prior to your commencement at the Mater you will be contacted by an agent of ACE Insurance Ltd, Simone Newton, to discuss your insurance cover. If you have any queries regarding your health insurance please contact Simone Newton via email newts@jlta.com.au.

Please note that the total cost for your health cover per year will be as follows:

• Single $1921.56
• Couple $2666.54
• Family $3784
